RAMALLAH: A Palestinian minor has Monday been killed by Israeli forces during a military raid in al-Amari camp in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, the Ministry of Health confirmed in an early statement.

The Ministry said that Mustafa Abu Shalbak, 16, from the Qalandia camp, has been shot and killed by the Israeli occupation forces during following storming the said camp.

In the early morning hours, the occupation forces stormed the camp, where confrontations broke out during which live bullets were fired at Palestinian youths, wounding Abu Shalbak in the neck and chest.

He was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces were stationed at the main entrance of the camp after storming it for several hours.

Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Khamada, discussed yesterday with the new Ambassador of Serbia to Libya, Dragan Todorovic, friendship relations and cooperation that link the two countries and ways to enhance them in several areas to serve common interests.

During the meeting held at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, Khamada welcomed the Serbian Ambassador and wished for his success in performing his tasks in Libya in a way that contributed to developing bilateral relations and his readiness to provide all facilities.

For his part, Ambassador Todorovic thanked and appreciated Khamada for his good reception, stressing that the work at the embassy will be resumed after the month of Ramadan.
