Kuwait Amir receives PM, newly appointed State Audit Bureau chief

KUWAIT, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace on Tuesday, who introduced to him newly appointed Chairman of the State Audit Bureau Essam Salem Al-Roumi.

Israeli occupation kills 46, injures 120 in past 24 hours

RAMALLAH, Israeli occupation forces killed 46 Palestinians and injured 110 others during the past 24 hours, Palestinian health authorities said on Tuesday.

In a press release, it added the occupation carried five massacres against Palestinian families in Gaza and the number of bodies under the rubble is still unidentified, noting that the death toll reached 36,096 and 81,136 injures since October 7.

The health authorities reported that hospitals and medical centers in Rafah are destroyed or out of service expect Tal Al-Sultan Health Centre.

The Palestinian president’s spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rudeineh said to the Palestinian TV, that they hold the US is responsible for the aggression in Rafah and Gaza Strip by the occupation forces.

The Israeli army claims: We targeted an ‘armed man’ in Rafah, but the attack claimed the lives of two Palestinians

Bethlehem – Ma’an – The Israeli military spokesman claimed that the Israeli army targeted an “armed man” in Rafah, but the attack unintentionally claimed the lives of Palestinians who were in the area.

He added, “The cause of the fire that claimed the lives of civilians in Rafah is not yet clear, and the investigation is continuing.”

He said, “We took security measures before carrying out the attack in Rafah to reduce harm to civilians.”

Culture launches an electronic link project between the Ministry and governorate offices

Ramallah – Ma’an – The Minister of Culture, Imad Hamdan, launched the electronic link project between the Ministry and the governorate offices, because of its great importance in terms of governance of the Ministry’s work and moving it to advanced and pioneering levels.

This came in the presence of Undersecretary Jad Ghazawi, and directors of the ministry’s offices in the governorates.

Minister Hamdan said: The Palestinian government pays special attention to the digitization sector, as we keep pace with a technological revolution that must be invested to the utmost of our capabilities. This approach would enhance governance and transparency, and constitute a vital input for systematic work within the contexts of advance planning of activities and events, and follow-up and submission of reports related to achievement.

He added that electronic connectivity between the Ministry’s offices is an essential element in improving the efficiency of administrative work and enhancing communication and coordination be
tween different departments, which contributes to providing better services to citizens and achieving the Ministry’s goals more efficiently.

UNRWA: About Million People Fled Rafah during Past Three Weeks

Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) announced Tuesday that around 1 million people have fled Rafah in the past three weeks.

“This happened with nowhere safe to go amidst bombardments, lack of food and water, piles of waste and unsuitable living conditions. Day after day, providing assistance and protection becomes nearly impossible”, UNRWA said in a statement.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip, by launching dozens of air strikes, artillery shelling, and fire belts, committing bloody massacres against civilians, and carrying out horrific crimes in the areas of incursion, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation due to the siege and the displacement of more than 90 percent of the population.

The occupation arrests 22 citizens from the West Bank

Ramallah – Ma’an – Since yesterday evening, until Tuesday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 22 citizens from the West Bank, including citizen Ola Dalaysha, the wife of prisoner Maher Dalaysha from the Jalazoun camp, in addition to a child and former prisoners.

The Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Prisoners’ Club explained in a statement that the arrests were concentrated in the Ramallah and Bethlehem governorates, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the Hebron, Tubas, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Jerusalem governorates.

In addition, the occupation forces continue to carry out widespread harassment, severe beatings, threats against detainees and their families, and the destruction and sabotage of citizens’ homes, in addition to field investigation operations.

It is noteworthy that the total number of arrests after October 7 reached more than (8,910), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were
forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.

Note that the ongoing and escalating arrest campaigns in an unprecedented manner come within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against our people and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, after October 7, which targeted all groups of children, women, the elderly, and the sick, in an unprecedented manner.

It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes those who were kept in detention by the occupation and those who were later released.
