Demolition and destruction – the occupation continues to storm Jenin and its camp

Jenin – Ma’an – The occupation army continued its storming of the city of Jenin and its camp since dawn on Thursday, in addition to bulldozing streets and destroying citizens’ property.

The occupation army declared the Jenin camp a closed military zone, and informed the liaison that entry to and from the Jenin camp would be prohibited until further notice in light of the continued aggression against the city and the camp.

A young man was injured by occupation bullets at dawn today, after storming the city of Jenin.

The occupation forces bulldozed large areas of infrastructure and citizens’ property on Nazareth and Haifa Streets, and in the vicinity of the Agency School in the camp, and the Jabriyat and Al-Zahraa neighborhoods, and the Al-Jalbouni roundabout, and Wadi Burqin, which led to a power outage in several neighborhoods. They also destroyed the Martyrs’ Monument, and raided the Turkish mosque in Jabriyat.

The occupation forces bombed a motorcycle in the Jabriyat neighborhood, detained the two young
men, Amir Ataba and Ayman Azoufa, in Jabal Abu Dhayr, and arrested the citizen, Ibtisam Saleh Turkman, to pressure her son, Mustafa Turkman, to surrender himself to the occupation.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Ya’bad, and arrested the young man, Saddam Abu Armila.

Dozens of Palestinian civilians were killed and wounded on Thursday by Israeli occupation forces as the brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip enters its 251st day.

WAFA correspondent reported hearing explosions and heavy gunfire from occupation tanks in the western area of ??the city of Rafah, coinciding with Apache warplanes and occupation boats firing on the same area, which led to the blowing up of entire residential buildings.

He added that medical teams recovered the bodies of three slain people and a number of wounded, most of them children, as a result of targeting a house owned by Al-Louh family in Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation artillery fired shells at citizens’ homes northwest of the Nuseirat camp and Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip.

Quadcopter military drones fired on citizens’ homes in Al-Shuja’iya and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods in Gaza City.

Israeli occupation vehicles stationed in Netzarim axis fired rockets on the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, A
l-Sabra, Tal Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ejlin in Gaza City, coinciding with the shooting.

The occupation army’s vehicles continue breaking into the southeastern outskirts of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, coinciding with missile and artillery shelling in the area.

The Israeli occupation forces’ aggression on land, sea and air against the Gaza Strip began on October 7, 2023, and has so far resulted in the killing of more than 37,202 people and injuring of 84,932 others, while thousands of victims remain under the rubble.

Sharjah Ruler pardons 352 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha

SHARJAH: H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered the release of 352 prisoners from Punitive and Correctional Institution in Sharjah, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

On this occasion, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, expressed his appreciation for the Ruler’s generous gesture, which reflects his keenness to maintain family cohesion and bring joy to families.

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani congratulated HE President-elect of the United Mexican States, Claudia Sheinbaum, on her victory in the presidential elections.

This came during a telephone conversation HH the Amir held on Thursday with HE the President-elect of the United Mexican States.

They also discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and ways to bolster them, and the latest regional and international developments of common interest.

QRDI Council Wraps Up the Seventh Round of Corporate Innovation Leaders Program

Doha: Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation (QRDI) Council has completed its 7th Corporate Innovation Leaders Program (CILP), a four-day training aimed at providing corporate leaders with the tools and tactics they need to promote business growth and innovation.

In collaboration with Alchemist Accelerator, a top worldwide accelerator for corporate startups, the 7th Corporate Innovation Leaders Program (CILP) was attended by leaders, seasoned executives, and forward-thinking professionals from Sidra Medicine, Qatari Diar, Milaha, Qatar Airways, Kahramaa, Qatar University, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and others.

Over four consecutive days, participants were able to engage in various sessions, case studies, and discussions, focusing on improving corporate innovation efforts and supporting emerging startups to succeed in a knowledge-based ecosystem that is centered around innovation, QRDI said in a press statement today.
