A Palestinian youth was shot dead on Saturday by the Israeli occupation forces, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Palestinian medical sources said in a press statement that the occupation forces shot a Palestinian youth at the Qalandia military checkpoint, killing him instantly.
The same sources indicated that the occupation forces prevented ambulances from approaching him, and detained his body, as part of the ongoing killings against Palestinians.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces have escalated, in recent weeks, their raids and incursions into Palestinian villages and towns in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. It also increased the pace of its arrests of Palestinian activists and youths.
