Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo led his Saudi team, Al-Nassr, to crown the title of the King Salman Club Cup for the first time in its history after defeating Al-Hilal 2-1 at the end of the tournament in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored two goals (74 and 98) minutes, while Michael Delgado scored Al-Hilal’s goal in the (50th) minute, in a match that lasted for two additional times after the original time ended in a draw with a goal for each team.
The title is the first for the Portuguese star with his team, Al-Nassr, since he joined it last January.
