– The State of Qatar participated Sunday in the 156th meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), which took place at the GCC Secretariat General headquarters in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the GCC foreign ministers.

– The State of Qatar is participating in the 55th GCC Meeting of Permanent Technical Committee for Civil Retirement and Social Security Bodies that will be hosted by Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during Jun. 12-14.

– HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani participated at the resumed part of the High-Level Meeting of the General Assembly on the Midterm Review of the Implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) 2015-2030, at the United Nations headquarters.

– HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani and HE Permanent Representative of Ireland to the United Nations Fergal Mythen, in their capacity as facilitators of government consultations to draft the political declaration of the Sustainable Development Goals Summit, have presided over the 4th session of the consultations at the UN headquarters.

– HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met Sunday with HE Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to the State of Qatar Dr. Cristian Tudor.

– HE Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al Sulaiti met here on Sunday with HE Minister of Transport of the Republic of Ghana Kwaku Ofori Asiamah.
