Abu dhabi: The Pakistani army announced today that at least 15 militants were killed in two separate security operations in Balochistan province in southwest Pakistan.
According to Emirates News Agency, the army stated that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Harnai area of Balochistan following reports about the presence of militants. The forces raided the hideout, leading to intense clashes that resulted in the deaths of 12 militants.
The statement also mentioned a second operation carried out in the Basima area of Balochistan after the detection of militant presence. A heavy exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the killing of three militants. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the deceased militants.
