20th Edition of SteelFab 2025 Exhibition Kicks Off in Sharjah

Sharjah: Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, inaugurated today the 20th edition of the SteelFab 2025 exhibition, noted as the largest event for the metal-manufacturing industry in the Middle East and North Africa. Organized by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the four-day event hosts over 600 major local and global brands and 350 exhibitors from 33 countries showcasing steel fabrication and metalworking technologies.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah Al Qasimi toured the exhibition, engaging with exhibitors and representatives of both local and international companies. During his tour, he was introduced to advanced equipment and innovations in the steel and iron industry, alongside samples highlighting the latest technologies. Accompanying him were Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expo Centre Sharjah, along with several SCCI and Expo Sharjah board members, government officials, and representatives from the steel and iron sector.

Sheikh Khaled praised Sharjah's ability to attract international participation in specialized exhibitions and commended Expo Centre Sharjah for drawing new global exhibitors in the steel and iron industry. He emphasized SteelFab as a strategic platform for businesses to expand and access markets across the Middle East and North Africa. Additionally, he highlighted the exhibition as a valuable opportunity for local manufacturers in the UAE and Sharjah to benefit from the showcased expertise.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais reiterated the Sharjah Chamber's commitment to supporting the metal manufacturing sector, recognizing it as a key pillar of economic growth. He pointed out SteelFab's role in strengthening the UAE's industrial position and contributing to economic development. Al Owais stated that SteelFab offers a platform for exchanging expertise and investment opportunities among industry professionals, which aligns with the UAE's strategic vision for enhancing its manufacturing sector.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, noted that this year's edition of SteelFab coincides with the 20th anniversary of its launch, highlighting the industrial growth achieved by Sharjah and the UAE. Over the years, SteelFab has expanded significantly, growing from 48 exhibitors in its inaugural edition to hundreds of local and global brands.

The 20th edition gathers leading manufacturers from countries including the UK, Germany, Italy, the US, China, the Netherlands, and India. It also features regional companies known for pioneering technologies in metalworking and fabrication industries. SteelFab 2025 provides companies the chance to engage in deals, build partnerships, and stay updated on industry developments.

Furthermore, the exhibition fosters networking for local companies to engage with global counterparts, enhancing their expertise and market competitiveness.
