An earthquake measuring 4.7 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Thursday Alianza Cristiana in south Peru. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the earthquake occurred 46 km north of Alianza Christiana, at a depth of 117 km. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage as a result of the earthquake so far. Seoul: Samsung Electronics Co. said Thursday its first-quarter net profit surged more than fivefold from a year earlier, driven by
