An earthquake measuring 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Wednesday the Kermadec Islands off the coast of New Zealand. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported. There have been no reports of casualties or material losses due to the earthquake.
