Kumamoto: A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Kumamoto Prefecture on Japan's southern island of Kyushu on Wednesday, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said.
According to Emirates News Agency, the earthquake's epicentre was at a depth of 10 km. There have been no reports of casualties or damage so far.
