BEIRUT: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 45 people were killed and 179 others wounded as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of casualties since the start of the events to 2,412 killed and 11,285 injured. The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Coordinator of the Government Emergency Committee, Minister of Environment Dr. Nasser Yassin, as saying that 96 airstrikes were recorded over the past 24 hours in various regions of Lebanon, bringing the total number since the beginning of the aggression to 10,246 airstrikes. He pointed out that 1,096 centres have been opened to receive displaced persons, 900 of which have reached their maximum capacity, and 190,882 displaced persons have been registered in the shelters.
