$450 Million in Bahraini Investments in Egypt in 2024

Cairo: The Bahraini-Egyptian Business Forum, held in Cairo during the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, unveiled significant economic collaborations between Bahrain and Egypt. The forum highlighted that non-oil trade between the two nations has reached a substantial $460.5 million. Notably, Bahraini investments in Egypt are projected to amount to approximately $450 million in 2024.

According to Emirates News Agency, Hassan Al Khatib, Egypt's Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, emphasized Bahrain's role as a vital investment partner. The forum served as a platform for key discussions on strengthening economic ties and fostering mutual benefits.

Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, the Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, alongside Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Bahrain's Minister of Industry and Commerce, discussed the shared ambition of both countries to establish a strategic partnership. This partnership aims to explore new opportunities in the financial services, technology, and industrial sectors.

Sameer Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, underscored the Chamber's commitment to facilitating and enhancing partnerships between the private sectors of Bahrain and Egypt. The forum marked a significant step towards deepening economic relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
