A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck Fiji on Tuesday. The earthquake occurred south of the Fiji Islands, at a depth of 10 km, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far. Fiji is an island country sitting on the Pacific Ring of Fire that makes it vulnerable to natural disasters.
