NUKU'ALOFA: A 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck 72 km west of Pangai, Tonga, on Monday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. The earthquake's epicentre was located at a depth of 106.7 km, at 19.755 degrees south latitude and 175.041 degrees west longitude, as reported by the USGS. Abu dhabi: The OECD unemployment rate reached 4.9% in July 2026, down from 5.0% in June and close to its
