Dubai: 7X, the renowned trade, transport, and logistics holding group, has officially introduced its cutting-edge national network for logistics (NXN) during the 28th Universal Postal Congress - Dubai 2025. This significant event, hosted by the UAE and organized by 7X in collaboration with the Universal Postal Union (UPU), marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of logistics and postal services.
According to Emirates News Agency, NXN is set to redefine standards within the postal, parcel, and logistics sectors. The network is designed to unify local and international service providers, delivering a seamless experience for sending, receiving, and storing parcels, and fulfilling shipments through a hybrid physical-digital infrastructure. This ambitious project aligns with 7X's strategy to enhance digital solutions, fortifying the UAE's status as a global trade and logistics hub.
The NXN's launch aligns with the UAE government's digital transformation goals, furthering objectives like 'We the UAE 2031' and the 'Zero Bureaucracy' initiative. The inaugural branch was unveiled today in Dubai, attended by key figures such as Badr Al-Olama, Chairman of 7X; Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X; Abdulaziz Alhammadi, General Manager of NXN; and representatives from strategic partners.
The expansive network will encompass over 87 branches, more than 1,000 pick-up and drop-off locations, and smart lockers across the UAE. It offers customers same-day or next-day delivery options, flexible pick-up locations, and a unified service standard. Additionally, NXN provides dark-store services and fulfillment logistics solutions to support e-commerce businesses and SMEs, all managed by 7X's digital logistics platform aggregator, Waslah. This platform is integrated with WAYN, the UAE's Digital P.O. Box, ensuring secure and precise deliveries.
Tariq Al Wahedi, 7X Group CEO, emphasized the transformative potential of NXN, describing it as a national platform with seamless integration between providers and customers, reducing costs and enhancing accessibility. NXN's integration with major logistics players like DHL, Aramex, and FedEx further strengthens its potential, offering advanced services and expanded reach.
Abdulaziz Alhammadi highlighted NXN's role in transforming UAE's retail and logistics services through four interconnected pillars: 'Send', 'Receive', 'Store', and 'Enable'. These pillars ensure comprehensive solutions for shipping, pick-up experiences, storage, and SME empowerment.
