Exports decreased in September by 15% compared to August. It also decreased by 2% compared to September 2022 and reached $125.9 million, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). Exports to Israel decreased in September by 13% compared to August, and it represented 92% of total exports in September. At the same time, exports to other countries decreased by 34% during the same period and reached $9.8 million. Imports decreased in September by 9% compared to August. It also decreased by 5% compared to September 2022 and reached $677 million. Imports from Israel decreased by 7% in September compared to August and it represented 59% of total imports in September. At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 12% compared to August. The trade balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, showed a decrease in trade deficit by 8% in September compared to August.
