Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed Nikos Dendias, Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, to discuss strategic ties and regional developments. The meeting focused on the repercussions of recent missile attacks by Iran targeting the UAE and other regional countries.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions between Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Dendias centered on the impact of Iran's actions on regional security, international navigation, and global energy supplies. The UAE's top diplomat expressed appreciation for Dendias' visit, highlighting it as a testament to the strong strategic relations between the UAE and Greece. He emphasized Greece's solidarity with the UAE in the wake of the missile attacks.
The ministers explored avenues for cooperation and joint action within their comprehensive strategic partnership. Sheikh Abdullah reiterated the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Greece, noting the continuous growth across all sectors under the leadership of both nations. The meeting was also attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State.
