Abdullah Bin Zayed and Nawaf Salam Discuss Bilateral Ties and Lebanon Developments

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a telephone discussion with Dr. Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon, focusing on the fraternal relations between the UAE and Lebanon and exploring ways to further strengthen these ties in support of their mutual interests.

According to Emirates News Agency, the conversation also covered regional developments and the situation in Lebanon, particularly in light of the recent signing of a framework agreement between the Lebanese and Israeli governments. This agreement, sponsored and supported by the United States, marks a significant step towards enhancing security and stability in the region.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his approval of the agreement and applauded the efforts of both the Lebanese and Israeli governments, as well as the role of the United States in facilitating the agreement. He emphasized the UAE's commitment to supporting initiatives that aim to achieve sustainable security and stability in Lebanon.

Additionally, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reiterated the UAE's steadfast support for Lebanon's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, affirming the UAE's dedication to the prosperity and well-being of Lebanon's people.
