Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait. During the call, the two diplomats discussed the overall situation in the region and expressed strong condemnation of the renewed hostile Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait with missiles and drones.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE's full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its security and stability. He emphasized the importance of protecting Kuwaiti citizens and residents from such threats.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah also highlighted that the security of Kuwait is an integral part of the security of the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council states, underscoring the close ties and mutual interests shared by the neighboring nations.
