Abdullah Bin Zayed Engages in Diplomatic Talks Over Iran’s Missile Attacks

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has conducted phone conversations with several foreign ministers to address the impact of Iran's missile attacks on the UAE and neighboring countries.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah engaged in discussions with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan; Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom; Jos© Manuel Albares, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain; H.E. Jean-No«l Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France; and Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The discussions focused on the serious implications of these actions for regional security, global economy, and energy security.

The ministers, along with Sheikh Abdullah, condemned the missile attacks, which are seen as a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter, posing a direct threat to state security and regional stability. They affirmed the rights of the affected nations to take necessary measures to protect their sovereignty and ensure the safety of their populations.

During the discussions, Sheikh Abdullah expressed gratitude for the support shown by other countries toward the UAE, assuring that everyone in the UAE remains safe. The talks also highlighted the need for enhanced international cooperation to maintain regional security and support economic prosperity and development in the region.
