Abdullah Bin Zayed Engages with National Defence Course Delegates

Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed a delegation of participants from the 12th National Defence Course for the year 2024-2025. The meeting was attended by Staff Brigadier Saeed Hassan Mohamed Alyammahi, Commandant of the National Defence College.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah was briefed on the course's comprehensive educational and training programme, designed to equip participants with advanced scientific and intellectual skills. The programme focuses on enhancing competencies in research, analysis, assessment, and strategic planning to serve the UAE's national interests.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the significance of the National Defence College as a strategic academic institution within the UAE. He expressed pride in the college's ongoing progress and achievements that support national gains and contribute to sustainable development. He also acknowledged the dedication of the college's administrative and teaching staff and commended the participants for their commitment to acquiring advanced knowledge.

The delegation members conveyed their pride in meeting Sheikh Abdullah and expressed gratitude to the UAE's leadership for its unwavering support of the college. This support has been instrumental in enabling the institution to fulfil its national mission.
