Abu Dhabi City Municipality Completes Maintenance Work on Gardens of 70 Mosques

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through the Infrastructure and Municipal Assets Sector, has completed maintenance and upgrading work on the gardens of 70 mosques located on Abu Dhabi Island and external cities within the municipality's geographical scope. This initiative was undertaken to enhance the aesthetic and civilised appearance of mosque gardens during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Emirates News Agency, the objective of the work was to present the mosque gardens in their most beautiful form during Ramadan, providing a suitable environment for worshipers. This effort aims to enhance the standards of sustainability, quality of life, and the overall aesthetic appearance, aligning with the civilised and urban renaissance experienced by Abu Dhabi.

The maintenance work carried out in all the gardens included cutting and defining the green spaces and soil covers, weeding and fertilising flowers, reviewing the connections of irrigation water networks, and assessing the lighting assets in the mosque gardens. Additionally, fertilisation operations for the agricultural elements in these gardens were conducted.
