Abu dhabi: Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub (ADCSH) has taken over majority ownership and commercial rights control of the Abu Dhabi T10, marking a new era where the tournament becomes an Abu Dhabi-owned and managed competition.
According to Emirates News Agency, this transition positions ADCSH to own and manage the Abu Dhabi T10 as a long-term national sporting asset, with support from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). Aref Al Awani, Chairman of the Board of ADCSH and Secretary-General of ADSC, emphasized the strategic evolution of the tournament, highlighting its strengthened governance and global growth strategy.
Al Awani noted that the tournament will continue to focus on high-intensity 10-over matches and international star players, aiming to engage modern global audiences through an evolving broadcast product. The 2025 edition of Abu Dhabi T10 generated significant media value and global social media impressions, as reported by an independent GSIQ report.
The 2026 edition is scheduled from November 7th to 20th at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, marking the first full tournament under the new structure.
