Abu dhabi: Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW), hosted by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), has unveiled its first line-up of prominent speakers for the fifth edition of the event. Scheduled to occur from the 7th to the 10th of December 2026, the conference will revolve around the theme "The Capital Community, Powered by Partnerships". With nearly five months remaining, ADFW has confirmed participation from more than 200 international speakers across sectors such as government, financial services, investment, technology, and innovation, as it continues to bolster Abu Dhabi's status as a premier global hub for capital and investment.
According to Emirates News Agency, Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADGM, highlighted the significance of the robust early commitment from global financial leaders to ADFW 2026. He noted that this reflects the growing confidence in Abu Dhabi as a reliable destination for capital, investment, and the cultivation of long-term partnerships. Al Zaabi emphasized that ADFW's strength is not just in the discussions it hosts but in the tangible outcomes these conversations yield, thereby fortifying Abu Dhabi's reputation as the "Capital of Capital".
The event will feature an impressive array of Abu Dhabi Government representatives, including Al Zaabi himself, Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, and other key figures in economic development and community affairs. They will be joined by senior executives from leading global financial institutions such as Allianz SE, DBS Group, State Street, Standard Chartered, Morgan Stanley, Julius Baer, Temasek Holdings, Swiss Re, Warburg Pincus, and many others.
Additionally, the programme will include influential voices from asset management, infrastructure, commodities, and institutional investment sectors. Notable participants include CEOs from Franklin Templeton, TCW, Allianz Global Investors, DigitalBridge, Balyasny Asset Management, Barings, Cambridge Associates, and DWS.
The technology, digital assets, and fintech sectors will also be well-represented with leaders such as Chamath Palihapitiya of Social Capital, Richard Teng of Binance, JoeBen Bevirt of Joby Aviation, Robert Smith of Vista Equity, Pascal Gauthier of Ledger, Lily Liu of Solana Foundation, and Charles Cascarilla of Paxos.
ADFW 2026 will introduce an expanded programme aimed at enhancing senior engagement and achieving more targeted outcomes. This includes the inaugural Abu Dhabi Real Estate Summit, the AIMA Global Hedge Fund Leaders Platform, The Hub71 Startups Campus, a Healthcare and BioTech Forum, as well as several Global Strategy Roundtables and expanded private forums.
Throughout the week, ADFW 2026 expects to host over 70 thematic events featuring more than 800 speakers. The structured programme will focus on four main thematic days covering areas such as Abu Dhabi's economic strategy, global markets, asset management, fintech, digital assets, sustainable finance, and Islamic finance.
