Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Enhances Digital Payment Services with Al Maryah Bank

Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has fortified its digital services in a collaboration with Al Maryah Bank by developing the Judiciary's digital wallet at the bank. This initiative introduces innovative payment solutions through a stable digital currency issued by the bank, aiming to update the fee payment system and accelerate the digital transformation process.

According to Emirates News Agency, the collaboration is based on an agreement signed by Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, and Tariq Ahmed Al Masaood, Chairman of Al Maryah Bank. The agreement seeks to enable the use of bank-managed digital wallets, such as M Wallet and AEC Wallet, offering advanced and secure payment options that facilitate efficient and swift transactions for clients.

The agreement was signed during Abu Dhabi Finance Week, a significant international platform that showcases the latest financial innovations and banking technologies. This move aligns with national efforts to bolster the digital economy and enhance Abu Dhabi's status as a leading financial hub embracing innovative financial solutions.

Yousef Al Abri emphasized that the development of the digital payment system is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, as well as Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. The focus is on enhancing judicial efficiency and adopting advanced technological solutions to improve service quality.

Al Abri further noted that expanding collaboration with Al Maryah Bank reflects a commitment to building effective partnerships with leading institutions in the fintech sector. He highlighted that the upcoming phase will witness broader adoption of advanced digital technologies, boosting service reliability and achieving sustainable digital transformation in alignment with Abu Dhabi Government's future vision.
