Abu dhabi: Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), recently welcomed Shakir Shayakhmetov, Deputy Head of Court Administration at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The official visit aimed at strengthening judicial cooperation and exchanging expertise in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and information security.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting featured a detailed presentation on ADJD's initiatives to enhance its digital litigation ecosystem. This includes the use of smart systems for case management, intelligent document-analysis tools, and remote hearing technologies. The presentation also focused on advanced data-protection mechanisms and information-security systems to safeguard judicial procedures and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards.
Al Abri highlighted ADJD's dedication to building effective international partnerships with judicial institutions worldwide. This aligns with the UAE leadership's vision to create a flexible and advanced judicial environment, with innovation and digital transformation as key service development pillars. He noted that hosting the Kazakhstani delegation was an opportunity to showcase ADJD's digital initiatives in electronic case management and AI technology integration, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a leader in judicial modernisation.
Shayakhmetov praised the progress of Abu Dhabi's judicial system, commending its advanced digital projects. He acknowledged them as a regional model in adopting modern technologies, particularly in case management, virtual hearings, and information-security systems.
The visit concluded with a tour of various ADJD departments and courts. The delegation was briefed on smart workflows, electronic case-registration systems, automation processes, and integrated customer-support centers, which showcased innovative operational models providing seamless access to judicial services through digital platforms.
