Abu Dhabi to Host Largest Edition of Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition

Abu dhabi: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers' Club, the 23rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2026) will take place from 28 August to 6 September at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Extended to 10 days for the first time in the event's history, this edition is set to be the largest since ADIHEX was launched in 2003, with the 2026 edition held under the theme 'A Legacy of Pride'.

According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibition is being organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in strategic partnership with the Emirates Falconers' Club. It will feature record participation from specialist companies and brands across 15 sectors, showcasing the latest equipment, technologies, and heritage experiences from around the world.

Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers' Club, commented on the upcoming edition, emphasizing the club's role in preserving the practices, values, and stories of the UAE's falconry and hunting heritage. He expressed gratitude for the support of the UAE leadership and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which has helped develop the event into the region's foremost gathering for enthusiasts of falconry, hunting, equestrian pursuits, and outdoor activities.

As ADIHEX 2026 marks an important milestone, it offers an opportunity to reflect on past achievements while looking towards the future. The exhibition continues to welcome families to explore falconry and heritage, ensuring these traditions are passed down through generations.

Al Mansouri highlighted the Emirates Falconers' Club's efforts in safeguarding falconry practices, supporting environmental conservation, and promoting UAE heritage internationally. The exhibition has evolved from a heritage-focused event into a global platform encompassing falconry, hunting, equestrian sports, arts, and outdoor lifestyle pursuits.

Humaid Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, noted the record growth in exhibition space, exhibitor participation, and the number of participating countries. This year's edition features 2,405 companies and brands from 71 countries, marking a 17% increase in participation. Exhibition space has also expanded by 17%, and the number of participating falcon farms has increased by 20%.

The exhibition will showcase 15 sectors, each highlighting a unique aspect of heritage, sport, and lifestyle. These include sectors focused on falconry, hunting tourism, veterinary products, environmental preservation, shooting sports, equestrianism, arts and crafts, outdoor equipment, and more.

The event would not be possible without support from partners and sponsors, including Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi, Al Fares Tent, Abu Dhabi Agriculture And Food Safety Authority, Premier Motors, and many others.
