ADNEC Group Enters Strategic Partnership with Abu Dhabi Maritime Through MoU

Abu dhabi: ADNEC Group, a Modon company, has entered a three-year strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi Maritime, part of AD Ports Group, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was signed on Day One of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) 2025. According to Emirates News Agency, Ahmad Shaker, CEO of Capital 360 and Events, expressed that this partnership aligns with their vision to create a platform for the maritime community. He emphasized their commitment to delivering an exceptional event in 2025 and beyond, highlighting the partnership as a significant step forward in innovation and excellence within the maritime sector. The collaboration aims to ensure that ADIBS remains the region's leading platform in the industry. Capt. Saif Al Mheiri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Maritime and Chief Sustainability Officer at AD Ports Group, stated their delight in entering this strategic partnership with ADIBS. He noted that it reinforces their commitment to advancing maritime excellence in the region and alig ns with the visions of both parties. The partnership is anticipated to create new opportunities for the community and enhance the boating experience. Through this partnership, ADNEC Group will leverage Abu Dhabi Maritime's industry expertise and connections to enrich the experience for exhibitors and visitors at ADIBS over the next three editions. The strategic partnership aims to encourage innovation, promote sustainable marine practices, and showcase advancements in boating and maritime technology. The 2025 edition of ADIBS will feature an expanded programme over four days, with family-friendly entertainment and immersive experiences celebrating various aspects of the maritime experience. The event will run from 2pm to 10pm each day and will host prominent local and international brands from the industry. A significant addition in 2025 is the launch of the Charter Show, a platform dedicated to showcasing superyachts and top-tier industry services. This exclusive zone will offer a hospitality lounge for n etworking among superyacht brokers, charter firms, and marine professionals. ADIBS continues to grow as a major event in the UAE's calendar and the premier marine experience in the Middle East. The collaboration with Abu Dhabi Maritime is expected to further strengthen the impact of the show in future editions. Abu Dhabi Maritime, as the custodian of the emirate's waterways, operates under the directives of the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport and its affiliate, the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), providing public maritime services, implementing local maritime regulations, and advancing safety and sustainability within the maritime sector community.
