Abu dhabi: Following its most successful year in 2025, ADNEC Group, a Modon company, is gearing up for a robust first half of 2026 with a packed calendar of exhibitions, conferences, meetings, and social events across its UAE-based venues. This diverse line-up underscores the Group's commitment to fostering business tourism and economic diversification in Abu Dhabi.
According to Emirates News Agency, ADNEC Group will host and organise 192 events of various types at its UAE-based venues, supporting a wide range of industries, including healthcare, finance, manufacturing, technology, sustainability, energy, defence, security, leisure, and entertainment. The schedule will also feature consumer and lifestyle exhibitions, a cultural programme, and events designed to enhance community engagement.
ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi is preparing for a busy season with 125 events lined up in the first half of the year, while ADNEC Centre Al Ain will hold 67 events. Notably, 12 new events will be introduced in the Middle East for the first time, such as the IAAPA Expo Middle East and the Emirates International Congress on Artificial Intelligence, highlighting ADNEC Group's role as a strategic partner for major regional gatherings.
The year kicks off with Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) from 11 to 15 January, hosting over 50,000 attendees, 450 exhibitors, and 300 speakers at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. The World Future Energy Summit, Green Hydrogen Summit, and Youth 4 Sustainability Forum will be key attractions.
From 12 to 17 January, the Ataya Exhibition will support charitable causes through women's fashion and jewellery displays. The Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony on 13 January will honour impactful contributions in various categories, including Health and Climate Action.
The Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX) will run from 20 to 22 January, focusing on autonomous systems in civil and defence sectors. Organised with the Ministry of Defence, these events will showcase innovations across air, land, and sea domains.
Lifestyle and cultural events such as the Al Thuraya Exhibitions and Gulf Bride Show will take place in late January, while February will feature the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 and the Abu Dhabi Poetry Festival 2026, celebrating inclusivity and Arabic poetry, respectively.
During Ramadan, Capital Majlis will offer traditional iftar and suhoor experiences at both ADNEC Centres. March and April will see major industry events, including the first Emirates International Congress on Artificial Intelligence and the IAAPA Expo Middle East 2026, alongside the Terra World Congress, held for the first time in the Arab region.
In April, the Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition will focus on sustainable agriculture, while the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair and M and I Expo Abu Dhabi will promote cultural and business exchanges. The Middle East Film and Games Con and the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice will round out the month's events.
The Make it in the Emirates event in May will aim to boost the nation's industrial ambitions, followed by AI Everything Abu Dhabi, showcasing AI innovations. The International Security and National Resilience event and IntraLogisteX Abu Dhabi will focus on security and logistics solutions.
H1 will conclude with Abu Dhabi Summer Sports in June, promoting community health and activity. ADNEC Group's dynamic schedule highlights its commitment to making Abu Dhabi a leading global hub for events, innovation, and cultural exchange.
