Adventure and Camping Exhibition 2024 Concludes with Record Attendance of Over 10,000 Visitors.


expo al dhaid: The sixth edition of the Adventure and Camping Exhibition concluded yesterday, Sunday, at Expo Al Dhaid, with resounding success. Organised by Expo Al Dhaid under the supervision of Expo Centre Sharjah, with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the exhibition drew over 10,000 visitors throughout its five-day run, a 40 percent increase from the previous edition, cementing its leading position as one of the most significant outdoor camping and adventure events in the UAE and the region.

According to Emirates News Agency, this year’s edition recorded the highest exhibitor participation to date, featuring a remarkable turnout of 60 exhibitors-an increase of 50 percent compared to last year. These exhibitors represented more than 200 major brands and companies specialising in camping, outdoor equipment, and marine excursions. Attendees were treated to a diverse array of the latest products, supplies, and innovations in camping and outdoor sports, as well as hunting and
fishing gear and camping-related safety and security devices.

Spanning an area of around 2,800 square metres, the exhibition was notable for its lineup of exhibitors, including companies specialising in travel trailers, mobile homes, and camping safety and security devices. It also featured participation from the adventure transport sector, focusing on motorcycles and four-wheelers, alongside suppliers of wilderness and marine sports equipment.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, remarked that the 2024 edition marked a new success with a 50 percent increase in exhibitor turnout, reinforcing the exhibition’s position as a leading event in camping and outdoor adventure. The event played a crucial role in promoting tourism in Sharjah, especially in its central region, by offering a platform to highlight the emirate’s top tourist destinations. Visitors were drawn not only to shop for new outdoor adventure and camping products but also to explore Sharjah’s unique touristic spots and landmarks.

l Midfa added that the exhibition attracted a substantial lineup of prominent local and international companies in the camping and adventure sector. Visitors enjoyed a unique shopping experience as they were introduced to the latest innovations in outdoor gear and safari equipment. The exhibition showcased a wide range of products and supplies for camping trips, along with off-roading and desert sports options.

One of the highlights of this year’s edition was the debut of a 100% electric vehicle by RIDDARA, an EV brand focusing on the outdoor ecosystem. Designed for off-roading, adventure, and camping enthusiasts, this vehicle is the first of its kind in the local market, offering advanced on-road and off-road capabilities.

Participating exhibitors praised the exhibition for its role in supporting industries related to outdoor camping and adventure activities, expressing their intent to participate in future editions. They noted the exhibition’s effectiveness as a platform to showcase their newest products
to traders and visitors, thereby maximizing sales potential.

Visitors expressed high satisfaction with the innovative and diverse selection of camping and outdoor products on display. The event’s timing at the start of the camping season motivated attendees to acquire the latest camping equipment and essential gear for outdoor excursions at competitive prices.
