Advisor to Uzbek President receives delegation of World Muslim Communities Council

TASHKENT: Muzaffar Kamilov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan, received a delegation of the World Muslim Communities Council during an official visit to the Uzbek capital, Tashkent. The two parties discussed means to further enhance cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the World Council of Muslim Communities. The delegation toured several prominent religious and academic institutions, including the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Centre, the Centre for Islamic Civilisation, and the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Centre.
