ADYBC and Hub71 Collaborate to Enhance Youth-Led Startups in Abu Dhabi

Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council (ADYBC), affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Hub71, Abu Dhabi's global tech ecosystem, during Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW). This collaboration aims to enhance opportunities for young entrepreneurs and integrate them more deeply into the emirate's growing innovation ecosystem.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was signed by Mansoor Abduljabbar Al Sayegh, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council, and Ahmad Ali Alwan, Chief Executive Officer of Hub71. The signing ceremony was attended by notable figures including Noor Al Tamimi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber and Chairwoman of the Emirates Franchise Association, along with other key officials from the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council.

This partnership is part of the Council's ongoing efforts to foster both international and local connections that aid young founders in establishing and scaling their ventures from Abu Dhabi. It follows a series of initiatives launched this year, such as the Young Founders Forum, which brings together young entrepreneurs from major global cities to explore opportunities within Abu Dhabi's forward-looking sectors. These initiatives underscore the emirate's competitive business environment and its robust support ecosystem for youth-led enterprises.

The agreement aims to connect young innovators with Abu Dhabi's technology community, creating pathways into the startup ecosystem and encouraging participation in specialised programmes and mentorship networks. The collaboration also seeks to expand access to emerging companies and support young talent in transitioning from early ideas to viable commercial ventures.

Mansoor Abduljabbar Al Sayegh remarked that the agreement is a significant step in empowering young entrepreneurs and expanding opportunities for them in Abu Dhabi. He emphasized the central role of youth in the emirate's economic transformation and highlighted the collaboration with Hub71 as a means to provide young founders with essential networks and guidance.

Ahmad Ali Alwan, CEO of Hub71, reiterated the commitment to empowering founders to build enduring companies from Abu Dhabi. He highlighted the importance of the partnership in providing young entrepreneurs with access to mentorship, specialised programmes, and partner networks.

The cooperation agreement establishes a framework for expertise exchange between the two entities, raising the visibility of youth-led ventures and enabling their participation in Abu Dhabi's major economic platforms. It bolsters ADYBC's efforts to position Abu Dhabi as a preferred destination for youth-driven businesses and strengthens its status as a global hub for innovation.

The Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council continues to implement initiatives that enhance international linkages for young entrepreneurs, including partnerships with leading youth organisations abroad. These efforts, coupled with ongoing work in skills development and business formation guidance, demonstrate the Council's commitment to empowering young people to contribute to Abu Dhabi's diversified and innovation-led economy.
