Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, announced the launch of this year's National Month campaign, a comprehensive celebration of the UAE's national occasions.
According to Emirates News Agency, the campaign will be held for the second consecutive year, commencing on Flag Day on 3rd November and concluding on Eid Al Etihad on 2nd December 2025. It aims to commemorate national occasions, inspire pride in the nation's journey, and provide an opportunity for the people of the UAE to express their loyalty to its leadership.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed has appointed Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, to lead the campaign. Brand Dubai will collaborate with government, semi-government, and private sector partners to create a unified celebration that honors the nation's values and achievements.
The initiative emphasizes teamwork, cooperation, and unity, principles that have been central to the country's progress. The month-long celebration will feature national, community, and cultural events designed to engage all segments of society, encouraging pride in national identity and appreciation for the significance of these occasions.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and Director-General of the Government of Dubai Media Office, highlighted the importance of coordination and integration for the campaign's success. She noted that this year's campaign will build on the strong community engagement witnessed in the first edition of National Month, held in 2024, which involved over 200 government, semi-government, and private organizations. An even greater level of participation is anticipated this year.
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, stated that the National Month celebrations are designed to creatively express values and ideals, emphasizing the importance of national occasions in engaging and meaningful ways. Working with talented content creators, Brand Dubai will organize diverse events reflecting Dubai's spirit of innovation. Entrepreneurs and SMEs from Brand Dubai's Proudly from Dubai network will participate in the celebrations, allowing them to showcase their work, develop their enterprises, and reach wider audiences.
