Ahmed bin Mohammed Inaugurates 50th Edition of Arab Health Exhibition

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, today inaugurated the 2025 Arab Health Exhibition and Congress at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Celebrated as the largest healthcare industry event in the Middle East, Arab Health marks its 50th edition under the theme 'Where the World of Healthcare Meets.'

According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibition features over 3,800 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 60,000 visitors. The event showcases a vast array of healthcare products and services, drawing key industry players from around the world. Sheikh Ahmed praised the continuous efforts that have positioned Arab Health as a leading global platform for shaping the future of healthcare.

Sheikh Ahmed emphasized the significance of the exhibition in highlighting Dubai's strategic role in driving positive transformations across critical sectors, particularly healthcare. He noted the event's growth as a reflection of Dubai's vision to build comprehensive health systems and maintain its status as a global hub for innovation and sustainability.

Accompanying Sheikh Ahmed during the exhibition tour were several prominent figures, including Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention; Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority; and Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority. Health ministers from Arab countries, such as Qatar, Bahrain, and Egypt, also attended the opening.

Since its inaugural event in 1975 with just over 40 exhibitors, Arab Health has grown into a renowned global showcase for the healthcare industry. The exhibition now highlights the latest innovations and technological breakthroughs across various healthcare segments. This year's event promises to exceed previous records, featuring leading global exhibitors unveiling cutting-edge technologies.

Ross Williams, Exhibition Director for Informa Markets, highlighted Arab Health's role over the past five decades as a platform for healthcare professionals to meet, conduct business, and discuss the industry's future. The 50th edition focuses on innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity, with new conferences and special features exploring their impact on the healthcare sector.

The two-day Healthcare ESG Forum, part of the newly launched Eco-Sphere feature, also commenced, addressing the integration of ESG principles into healthcare and climate change-related health risks. Additionally, the Lakers and UCLA Health Experience offered attendees a chance to meet Laker Legends and gain insights from UCLA Health's Sports Medicine team.

Several CME-accredited conferences began today, including the 25th Total Radiology Conference and the 8th Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Conference. The 24th General Surgery Conference and the 9th Public Health Conference also launched, featuring global public health insights.

Other highlights of Arab Health include the Future Health Summit, Executive Networking Lounge, and Healthcare World Stage. The Transformation Zone will showcase disruptive technologies, and the Arab Health Village offers networking opportunities with diverse dining options.

Arab Health 2025 is supported by various UAE government entities, including the Ministry of Health and Prevention, Government of Dubai, and Dubai Health Authority.
