Abu dhabi: AIREV, the Abu Dhabi-based creator of the OnDemand autonomous AI platform, has entered into a strategic agreement with Qualcomm Technologies Ltd. Through this collaboration, the OnDemand platform will be integrated with Qualcomm Dragonwing products, including the Qualcomm Dragonwing AI On-Prem Appliance, helping enterprises and governments deploy sovereign AI wherever their data resides while creating a foundation for future technology integration.
According to Emirates News Agency, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister for Foreign Trade and Chairman of AIREV, expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting the UAE's journey in the AI sector. He noted that the collaboration represents a regional first in combining chip technology, hardware preloading, and registration into the US market, marking a significant milestone.
The OnDemand platform is a no- and low-code operating system designed for building, deploying, and managing autonomous AI agents. It operates without mandatory cloud dependency, catering to over four million users globally and offering more than 300 specialized agents in over 50 languages. In the second quarter of 2026, AIREV's products processed 6.8 trillion tokens, showcasing significant growth and establishing a record for UAE-based AI platforms.
Qualcomm Technologies, known for powering various environments from enterprise to industrial, will integrate AIREV's software with its Dragonwing products. This integration allows enterprises and governments to access AI agents operating independently of data location, promoting secure AI deployments and extending agentic AI reach across Qualcomm-powered environments.
Muhammad Khalid, Founder and Chief Executive of AIREV, emphasized the collaboration's potential to enhance AI deployment across different infrastructures. Meanwhile, Wassim Chourbaji, Senior Vice President and President Europe, Middle East and Africa at Qualcomm Technologies Ltd, remarked on the expansion of AI capabilities this partnership will bring to various Qualcomm technologies.
