Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, along with H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has opened the exhibition “A Glimpse of the Zayed National Museum: Preserving Our Rich History” at the Ajman Museum. The exhibition, which commenced recently, will be available for public viewing from November 28 until May 29, 2025.
According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibition is organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and the Zayed National Museum, in collaboration with the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD). The event was graced by the presence of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of ADTD, and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Municipality and Planning. The exhibition honors the principles of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, reflecting on his enduring influence on the UAE’s progress and heritage
preservation.
The Ruler of Ajman, accompanied by Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of DCT Abu Dhabi, explored the exhibition, which showcases artifacts, films, and archival images that document the life of Sheikh Zayed in the Al Ain region. The display emphasizes his connection with the people and significant life milestones. During the tour, H.H. Sheikh Humaid received insights from Al Mubarak about the exhibition’s tribute to the shared vision of preserving heritage held by the late Sheikh Zayed and H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi.
H.H. Sheikh Humaid remarked, “The exhibition documents the legacy of a leader who dedicated himself to building a great nation and achieved one success after another for his people. With his wise vision, our country has continued on the path of growth, progress, and prosperity, becoming a source of pride among nations.” He emphasized the exhibition’s role in educating future generations about Sheikh Zayed’s contributions and his enduring wisdom.

Nuaimi commented on the exhibition’s significance, highlighting its role in introducing new generations to Sheikh Zayed’s life and achievements. He noted the exhibition’s effectiveness in instilling values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland, embedding historical moments of the nation’s foundation in the collective memory.
Al Mubarak expressed that the Zayed National Museum serves as a platform for both the local community and international visitors to draw inspiration from Sheikh Zayed’s legacy. He underscored the museum’s role in narrating the UAE’s rich history and its vision for a bright future.
The exhibition, the second traveling exhibition organized by the Zayed National Museum in collaboration with national museums, highlights the importance of museums in preserving cultural heritage and enhancing national identity awareness. It also plays a crucial role in promoting cultural and heritage tourism in Ajman by showcasing the emirate’s authentic connection to Emirati identity and its commitment to
preserving heritage for future generations.
