Ajman Tourism Department Launches India Roadshow to Strengthen International Ties

Ajman: The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) is set to launch a new promotional roadshow in India, under the leadership of Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Department. The roadshow, scheduled to begin tomorrow and continue until September 19, 2025, will make stops in major Indian cities.

According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative is part of ADTD's ongoing efforts to explore new markets and enhance tourism partnerships with global operators and industry leaders. The roadshow aims to establish agreements that promote mutual understanding and joint initiatives in the tourism sector. During the roadshow, the Department will showcase Ajman's latest tourism projects and attractions, reinforcing its status as an attractive global destination.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi emphasized the Department's commitment to creating new opportunities for regional and international cooperation and strengthening Ajman's position as a leading tourist destination. He noted that the initiative aligns with the emirate's strategic vision to advance the tourism and leisure sectors, in accordance with the Government of Ajman's goals and future plans.

Alhashmi also highlighted the importance of building strong strategic ties with key partners in the Indian tourism sector. The roadshow is expected to boost opportunities for knowledge exchange and sustainable tourism development, further contributing to Ajman's mission to promote its diverse landmarks, projects, and cultural attractions that offer unique experiences to visitors.

The roadshow will visit cities such as New Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata on September 15, 17, and 19, respectively. Each stop will feature official meetings and events designed to highlight Ajman's tourism offerings, share best practices, and explore new avenues for collaboration.

Through this roadshow, ADTD aims to achieve several strategic objectives, including raising international awareness of Ajman as a unique tourist destination, introducing the Indian market to its major attractions, and strengthening partnerships with global tourism stakeholders. The roadshow seeks to drive tourism growth, boost visitor numbers and revenues, contribute to the local economy, and attract further investments into the tourism sector.
