Abu dhabi: The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media is bolstering its international presence by participating in a promotional roadshow across Central and Eastern Europe, organized by Fischer from August 30 to September 4.
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative is part of the Department's strategy to diversify source markets, enhance international partnerships, and position Ajman as a unique destination offering cultural experiences, natural attractions, and modern hospitality. The roadshow visits four cities-Prague, Katowice, Bucharest, and Budapest-uniting tourism destinations with key travel industry stakeholders.
Through direct engagement with travel agencies, tour operators, and tourism partners, the Department aims to explore new partnerships, strengthen trade relationships, and expand Ajman's reach across promising European markets. During the roadshow, Ajman's diverse tourism offerings, including cultural and heritage attractions, natural landscapes, and hospitality, are highlighted to various visitor segments.
The programme provides a platform to emphasize experiences tailored for different visitors and solidify Ajman's inclusion in regional and international travel programmes. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, stated that their participation reflects a commitment to expanding international reach and building sustainable relationships with travel partners in priority markets.
The roadshow is part of the Department's broader approach to market diversification and international tourism development through targeted roadshows, trade engagement, and strategic partnerships. These efforts aim to increase awareness of Ajman, strengthen international visitor flows, and reinforce the emirate's position as an attractive tourism destination.
