Al ain: Al Ain Equestrian Club announced its remarkable contribution to the Arabian horse racing scene by staging 123 races this season, which constitutes 47 percent of all Arabian horse races held in the UAE.
According to Emirates News Agency, Faisal Al Rahmani, Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee and General Supervisor of the races, emphasized that the club's strong performance is a result of an integrated work system aligned with its leadership's vision. This strategy aims to maintain the club's prestigious standing and support the overall success of the sport within the region.
Al Rahmani further explained that the club serves as a crucial qualifying platform for purebred Arabian horse races, offering a competitive dirt track that attracts substantial attendance and high-caliber competition from elite horses both locally and internationally. The club's race programme has seen significant growth, expanding from five meetings per season a decade ago to 14 meetings currently, underscoring the sector's development.
He also highlighted the club's commitment to meeting the expectations of owners, trainers, and jockeys by ensuring seamless participation and upholding professional standards. This is facilitated by the club's modern facilities and advanced infrastructure, along with spectator amenities that are designed to enhance the overall experience and provide a family-friendly environment.
