Al-Dabaiba issues a decision to consider next Sunday an official holiday on the occasion of Libya’s independence anniversary.

The National Unity Government declared next Sunday, the twenty-fourth of this month, an official holiday for all employees of public institutions and bodies on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of Libya's independence. A decision issued by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba today, Thursday, excluded institutions and facilities that provide humanitarian and security services, while preserving the right of their workers to receive work compensation for this day in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Law No. 12 of 2010.
