Tripoli: President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, received yesterday in the Ghanaian capital, Nardos Bekele, a member of the Steering Committee of Heads of State and Government members of the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD). According to Al-Menfi's communication office, the meeting reviewed the results of its recent visit to Libya in April and its meeting with the President and a number of Libyan officials about ways of activating cooperation between NEPAD and Libya. For her side, Bekele presented to Al-Menfi a proposal for a strategic partnership project between Libya and NEPAD, which aims to provide technical support and consultations for sectors of infrastructure, education, food security, the economy, and small and medium enterprises.
