Abu Dhabi: Aldar has announced its partnership with Hilton to develop Abu Dhabi's first Waldorf Astoria Residences and the first branded residences on Yas Island. The agreement was signed by Aldar Development CEO Jonathan Emery and Hilton's Vice President of Development Luxury and Residences, EMEA, Daniel Wakeling, with Aldar's Group CEO, Talal Al Dhiyebi, in attendance.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Waldorf Astoria Residences Yas will be located along the Yas Links Golf Course, a renowned site that hosts the Abu Dhabi Championship. The development will feature premium furnished apartments and penthouses, providing residents with access to top-tier amenities and services. The location offers views of the Yas Marina Circuit, home to the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Talal Al Dhiyebi expressed that the collaboration with Hilton aligns with Aldar's mission to enhance Abu Dhabi's status as a global investment and residency hub. Daniel Wakeling highlighted the strategic importance of launching the Waldorf Astoria Residences in the region, emphasizing the growing demand for luxury branded residences.
The residences, set to launch for sale soon, will provide residents with access to Yas Island's attractions such as Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. This project adds to Waldorf Astoria's global residential portfolio, which includes over 20 properties worldwide.
