At least 34 people died and 12 were injured when a bus and a car collided in Algeria early on Wednesday, Algeria’s Civil Defense said in a statement.
The accident occurred around 4 a.m. local time (03:00 GMT) in the city of Tamanrasset, south of the capital Algiers, it said.
It added that the 34 people died due to the collision that was followed by a fire.
