The American special envoy to Libya, Ambassador Richard Norland, said, 'We have taken note of the interview with the husband of Representative Siham Sergiwa, Dr. Ali Rabie, on Al-Wasat TV, and we share his urgent call to anyone who has information about the disappearance of his wife to help the family know the truth regarding her fate. In a tweet on his account on the X website on Tuesday, the American envoy renewed his condemnation of the kidnapping of the representative from Benghazi, 'Sarqiwa,' in 2019, pointing out the suffering that her family is experiencing, stressing that arbitrary arrest and detention on the basis of political opinions undermines the rule of law and constitutes a serious violation of human rights.
