American Community School of Abu Dhabi Honors Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi with Leadership Award

Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, the American Community School of Abu Dhabi (ACS) honored Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi with the 2025 ACS Community Leadership Award. The award was presented by Sheikh Nahyan during the 2025 ACS Gala, held on May 10, 2025, at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event celebrated the ACS's role in advancing education in the UAE. In his opening remarks, Sheikh Nahyan commended the school's dedication to educating young people and its influence on educational practices. He emphasized the importance of the event as a celebration of the Year of Community in the UAE, highlighting the school's commitment to the community through excellent education.

Sheikha Lubna, in her address, expressed gratitude to the UAE's founding fathers and current leaders for prioritizing education, health, and career development. She praised the UAE as a "melting pot" and a "magnet for greatness," acknowledging the country's role as a home for ACS and its community.

The gala was attended by prominent figures, including ambassadors from the United States, Sweden, Ireland, and Italy, along with UAE government representatives and business leaders. Over 550 guests attended the event, honoring Sheikha Lubna's contributions and legacy of service and leadership.

Ambassador Martina Strong highlighted Sheikha Lubna's dedication to strengthening communities and fostering cross-cultural connections, while ACS Superintendent Monique Flickinger praised her as a beacon of leadership and compassion. The award reflects Sheikha Lubna's visionary leadership and commitment to empowering others.
