According to Emirates News Agency, Professor Khalid Hussain, Provost of AURAK, highlighted that the programme is crafted to align with industry standards, empowering graduates to make significant contributions to the UAE's knowledge-based economy and extending their impact beyond national borders. A unique element of this programme is its focus on Robotics, where students gain expertise in designing, developing, and programming sophisticated robotic systems. AURAK has also recently added an Avionics and Aviation 4.0 concentration in pa rtnership with the Aviation Australia Group, addressing the needs of a sector experiencing a 7 percent compound annual growth rate, as reported by Fortune Business Insights. Dr. Ali Al Ataby, Department Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, stated that the programme integrates robust academic knowledge with practical real-world experiences, incorporating fields such as robotics, avionics, and aviation. The programme's accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) ensures that it meets the highest international standards of academic quality, excellence, and relevance to the labour market.
