Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, hosted a delegation from Meta at the Government Departments Complex in Ajman. The meeting focused on exploring partnerships in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the digital economy, aligning with the goals of Ajman Vision 2030.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Meta delegation comprised Fares Akkad, Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa; Mariam Obaid Al Mheiri, Public Policy Manager; and Ahmad Shehada, Head of Government, Politics and Nonprofits for the Middle East and North Africa. H.H. Sheikh Ammar expressed appreciation for Meta's innovation in technology.
Sheikh Ammar emphasized Ajman's commitment to forming strategic alliances with leading tech companies to boost its digital and economic landscape. These efforts aim to position Ajman as a hub for investment and innovation, supporting its future digital governance plans.
The Crown Prince underscored the significance of Meta's contribution to enhancing Ajman's business environment and attracting both regional and international investment. He noted Ajman's efforts to create a comprehensive digital ecosystem conducive to startups and tech innovation.
H.H. Sheikh Ammar reiterated the Ajman Government's dedication to future readiness and its aspiration to be a smart emirate utilizing technology for societal benefit.
