Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has introduced the Bait Amer 2 (Thriving Home 2) package. This new initiative is an integrated digital platform designed to assist Emirati families in completing all necessary services for building a home without the need to visit government service centres. According to Emirates News Agency, the Bait Amer 2 package was developed by Ajman Municipality and Planning Department in collaboration with various government entities and strategic partners. It offers a unified digital journey that encompasses the entire home-building process, from obtaining building permits to securing utility connections. The launch event was graced by the presence of Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, as well as several officials, strategic partners, and representatives of government entities. Sheikh Ammar emphasized that this initiative aligns with the Ajman Go vernment's vision of enhancing the quality of life by providing proactive, family-centred government services. He noted that the digital integration among government entities has significantly streamlined procedures, resulting in a seamless customer experience. Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi elaborated on the development of Bait Amer 2, stating that it was created in partnership with relevant entities to integrate government services into a single customer journey. He explained that the process begins with the issuance of a building permit once technical approvals are obtained. Customers are then automatically transitioned to the electricity and water connection stage without needing to submit separate applications. He also mentioned that the relevant entities proactively initiate infrastructure procedures, and customers are granted up to 120 days to pay connection fees, which helps simplify procedures and reduce processing time. Hind Salem Matar Al Shamsi, Director of Smart Services Development at the Department, p rovided H.H. Sheikh Ammar with a detailed explanation of the package. The Bait Amer 2 package has achieved zero visits and is delivered through a single platform, reducing transaction completion time by 50 percent. It has also decreased the number of form fields by 70 percent and cut the number of procedures by 80 percent. During the launch ceremony, the Crown Prince of Ajman honoured the partners of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department for their contributions to the development and success of the Bait Amer package. Those honoured included the Cabinet, the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation's water and electricity arm, e and (Etisalat), and Ajman Sewerage Company.
