Ammar bin Humaid Unveils AED1.8 Billion Ajman Municipality Agenda AM30x30

Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has launched the Ajman Municipality Agenda AM30x30, comprising 30 projects across five strategic packages at a total cost of AED1.8 billion. The Agenda aims to enhance the prosperity, attractiveness, and beauty of the Emirate, aligning with the targets of Ajman Vision 2030.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Agenda represents an integrated urban roadmap focusing on enhancing community wellbeing and cementing Ajman's standing as an advanced urban model. It aligns with the Year of the Family, aiming to place people and families at the core of its priorities through the development of infrastructure, mobility, green spaces, and community facilities.

H.H. Sheikh Ammar emphasized that the launch is a translation of the vision of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman, aimed at continuing the Emirate's development journey. The Agenda reflects Ajman's commitment to sustainable infrastructure, enhancing quality of life, and supporting economic and social growth.

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality, stated that the Agenda represents an ambitious roadmap for Ajman's future, translating strategic visions into tangible development projects. The development of infrastructure and green spaces are fundamental pillars for sustainable development and align with Ajman Vision 2030.

Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Ajman Municipality, affirmed that the Agenda translates the support of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and the supervision of H.H. Sheikh Ammar into tangible projects. The Agenda adopts an integrated approach balancing urban development and environmental sustainability.

The Agenda includes five main packages focusing on roads, infrastructure, and sustainable mobility. It aims to improve road network quality and connectivity, with targets such as a 43% increase in new road implementation and a 33% increase in cycling tracks by 2030.

Package One includes projects like the development of the Al Zorah area and vital streets, while Package Two focuses on internal road development. Package Three targets road development and maintenance, and Package Four expands cycling tracks and walkways. Package Five aims to expand green spaces and enhance the urban landscape, increasing per capita public facilities share by 2030.
